First-Thursday Networking Mixers

5:30 - 7:00 pm

First pint is free for members!

NWAEP monthly first-Thursday networking events are an opportunity for you to meet, network, stay informed and stay connected with environmental colleagues. The event is also a great way to connect with the NWAEP Board to contribute ideas for how NWAEP can improve (e.g new events, speakers, topics, training and activities!). Networking mixers are being held in both Portland and Seattle (see more details, below). As always, this event is free to both members and non-members, so please bring a friend. Please RSVP here so we know you're coming!

Seattle

Belltown Pub

2322 1st Avenue

Please join us for a special Speed Networking event at the Belltown Pub (upstairs) to kick off the new year!

Built in 1904, this brick building in the heart of Seattle's Belltown neighborhood welcomes you with a warm ambiance and a unique history. Great food and great drinks and a great time. The perfect spot for environmental networking and discussing future events!

The way this event will work is once everybody is settled in with their beverage, folks will have 5 to 10 minutes to chat with their neighbor. Once the time is up, everybody gets up, switches seats, and sits next to somebody completely different. The goal of this event is to allow people to meet somebody new and get an opportunity to network with more people in the group.  Ready...Set...Go!

Please contact Josh Jensen at jjensen@anchorqea.com with any comments or questions about the Seattle gathering.

Portland

The Green Dragon

928 SE 9th Avenue

Join us at The Green Dragon Bistro & Pub to network with your fellow Portland NWAEP'ers! The Green Dragon is a bar dedicated to the education and appreciation of craft beer, with 56 rotating taps and a featured brewer from local and regional breweries every Thursday. If its a nice evening, we'll be on the patio, so feel free to bring your canine friends, too!

Please contact Lindsay Mico at lindsaymico@gmail.com with any comments or questions about the Portland gathering.
