SEPA Overview and Update
Presented by Annie Szvetecz, Washington State Department of Ecology

Please join us for this special Lunch and Learn presentation featuring Annie Szvetecz, Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology), who will be giving an overview of the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).  The overview includes background on SEPA, including its purpose and function.  Specific topics related to exemptions, review and commenting, and NEPA/SEPA integration will be covered.

Annie has been a senior planner and policy analyst for Ecology since 2004 and currently oversees the statewide administration of SEPA, including the statewide Register, rulemaking, guidance, training, and technical assistance.   She has a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana and is currently a J.D. candidate at Lewis and Clark School of Law.

Please note that the actual talk will start promptly at 12:00.  However, we encourage everyone to join us for some friendly discussion and networking starting at 11:30.
