NWAEP First Thursday Networking Mixers

5:30 to 7:00pm

First pint is FREE for members!

NWAEP monthly first Thursday networking events are an opportunity for you to meet, network, stay informed, and stay connected with local environmental professionals.  The event is also a great way to connect with the NWAEP Board to contribute ideas for new events, speakers, topics, trainings, and other activities.  Networking mixers are held in both Portland and Seattle (see more details below).  As always, this event is free to both members and non-members, so please bring a friend.  Please register on our events page so we know you are attending!

Seattle

The Pike Brewing Company
1415 1st Avenue

Join us at the downtown Seattle at the Pike Brewing Company for our First Thursday Networking Mixer!  The Pike Brewing Company is a classic Seattle icon featuring locally made craft beer and grub.  Head to the back right of the brewery and find us in the bar/beer museum.

We are pleased to announce that Farmigo will be sponsoring this event by providing appetizers.

Farmigo is a new way to buy groceries. It’s an online farmer’s market with great food sourced directly from local farmers and producers. We are providing an alternative to the industrial agricultural system that is better for our bodies, our environment, and our workforce. We also build stronger communities. People order their food online and pick it up once a week at a site in their neighborhood, this could be someone’s home, school, or workplace. There is also an opportunity to fundraise money for local schools, food banks, or other important charities.

Please contact Josh Jensen at jjensen@anchorqea.com with any comments or questions about the Seattle event.

Portland

The Green Dragon
928 SE 9th Avenue

Join us at the Green Dragon Bistro and Pub to network with your fellow Portland NWAEP crew!  The Green Dragon is a bar dedicated to the education and appreciation of craft beer, with 56 rotating taps and a featured brewer from local and regional breweries every Thursday.  If it is a nice evening, we'll be out on the patio as space allows - if not we will be in the barrel room.  Just ask at the bar if you are unsure where to find us.

Please contact Lindsay Mico at lindsaymico@gmail.com with any comments or questions about the Portland event.
