Please bring a lunch and join us at our in-person viewing locations in Seattle and Portland  for this webinar presented by the National Association of Environmental Professionals that will discuss the implementation of Executive Order 13807,  Establishing Discipline & Accountability in the Environmental Review and Permitting Process. The presentation will include a panel discussion and will describe actions being taken to implement the Order including the White House Council on Environmental Quality's (CEQ) initial list of actions published in the Federal Register as well as the Department of the Interior's Secretarial Order 3355 that requires firm page and time limits for Environmental Impact Statements. The panel will also share perspectives on streamlining and best practices that have proven to accelerate and improve the federal environmental review and decision-making process.

  • Ronald Lamb, NEPA Specialist for the Marine Corps
  • Michaela Noble, Director, Office of Environmental Policy & Compliance, Department of the Interior
  • Chuck Nicholson, NAEP Board Member and former Tennessee Valley Authority NEPA Lead

Moderating this panel is Shannon Stewart, NAEP Education Committee Chair, former National NEPA Lead for the Bureau of Land Management, and author of "NEPA as a Tool for Strategic Analysis and Decision Making" (Environmental Practice; Vol 16, No 4) an article highlighting the benefits of programmatic NEPA.
