SEPA Overview and Update
Presented by Annie Szvetecz, Washington State Department of Ecology

Please join us for this special Lunch and Learn presentation featuring Annie Szvetecz, Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology), who will be giving an overview of the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).  The overview includes background on SEPA, including its purpose and function.  Specific topics related to exemptions, review and commenting, and NEPA/SEPA integration will be covered.

We will be hosting this presentation in-person in Seattle at the Anchor QEA office (720 Olive Way, Suite 1900), and broadcasting it via webinar to Portland at the Apex office (3015 SW First Avenue).

Annie has been a senior planner and policy analyst for Ecology since 2004 and currently oversees the statewide administration of SEPA, including the statewide Register, rulemaking, guidance, training, and technical assistance.   She has a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana and a J.D. from Lewis and Clark School of Law.

Please note that the talk will start promptly at 12:00.

The event will be available in-person in Seattle at Anchor QEA (720 Olive Way, Suite 1900 - Galena Conference Room). The presentation will be webcast via webinar to Portland at Apex (3015 SW First Avenue: Note that there is 2-hour street parking available within a couple of blocks).
