What will I do in this position if hired? 

In this position, you will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist supporting mitigation grant programs. Typical assignments include:

• Scoping, reviewing, coordinating, and documenting federal compliance for the National Environmental Policy Act; Endangered Species Act; National Historic Preservation Act; Executive Orders 11988 (Floodplain Management), 11990 (Wetlands Protection), 12898 (Environmental Justice); and related laws on a diverse variety of grant projects.
• Providing technical assistance related to these laws to grant program managers and project stakeholders.
• Conducting environmental impact analyses.
• Corresponding with environmental resource/regulatory agencies regarding project compliance.
